• 2 (No) 60T Boilers offloaded and positioned within a boilerhouse in Grimsby
• A complete PET bottle blowing and filling line offloaded and installed within a soft drinks factory in the North of England
• New increased capacity Transformer installed in a sub station within Hull City Railway Station
• New Mash Tuns and associated equipment installed in several Malt Whisky distilleries on Speyside

Equipment on the move

Whether you are relocating your equipment on the same site or moving it within the UK or internationally, TEP Machinery can remove, relocate, and prepare your plant for shipping overseas. 

Our fleet of cranes, lifting equipment, vehicles and highly experienced team, can ensure that your plant is relocated efficiently, enabling your operations are up and running within the time required.

Recent relocation projects include:

• Process and packaging plant from Leeds to Northampton for Carlsberg: working in partnership with OEM engineers, the equipment was decommissioned packed for transit and relocated to Northampton where the OEM engineers decommissioned the lines. 

• Precision machine tools relocated across the group sites for Klinger UK Ltd: Working in partnership with Klingers engineering team the equipment was relocated within the Bradford factory and transferred to satellite production facilities at Runcorn and Middlesborough.

• Laboratory scale and pilot plant and instruments relocated within campus for the University of Leeds: Ranging from engines, through prototype coating machines to scanning electron microscopes and Lasers.

• Temporary relocation of Yeast Tanks to enable floor improvement works to be completed for major UK Brewery: Walkways and access ladders removed prior to moving the vessels from their plinths into a suitable holding area. Returning the vessels to their plinths after civil works had been completed. Finally the access platform and ladders were reassembled.

• Manufacturing and packaging plant from Barnsley to Plymouth for a major building products manufacturer: Mixing , dispensing and tube filling equipment was removed, packed for transport, shipped to Plymouth where it was offloaded and positioned as required in readiness for production. 

• Pre-press, print and finishing equipment for label producer in the North of England: After the manufacturers agents had decommissioned the equipment and made ready for transport we loaded and shipped the equipment. All safely offloaded and positioned in the new facility ready for recommissioning.

Out with the old and in with the new

Whether you are looking to remove and retire old equipment or remove used equipment for sale, we can manage the entire project and limit any disruption to your continued operations.

Our carefully executed removal of your plant, takes into consideration your end goal and ensures that where equipment is being recommissioned on another site, that due care and diligence is taken to protect the plant from any damage.

Removal Projects recently completed include:

• Removal and disposal of redundant cooling equipment from a brewery in North Yorkshire: working in partnership with refrigeration engineers, the equipment was decommisioned, decontaminated and removed for disposal in line with clients timescale and budget. 

• Removal of obsolete packaging machinery from a drinks packer in the UK: after the site engineers had successfully disconnected the obsolete equipment from the remaining equipment, the complete line from filler to palletiser was removed with minimal disruption to the remaining operations.

• Removal of obsolete wine storage tanks from a wine bottler in the North of England: the glass fibre tanks were removed and put to re-use in another industry. Brand new stainless steel tanks were later installed to replace the removed tanks.

• Removal and disposal of bespoke machine tools: where the removed equipment needed to be destroyed to prevent unauthorised use.
